There are NUMBEROFARTICLES articles in the database, most of which are small and need more information.  Some suggestions to get started - add a link to an unlisted band on left-hand side of this page, go to a band's page and add members/instruments, fix any spelling errors, or create new page about your favorite Chicago Punk recordAnything you can add will help tremendously, so please contribute today!

Generative art refers to any art practice where the artist uses a system that operates with some degree of autonomy, and contributes to or results in a completed work of art. Systems may include natural language instructions, biological or chemical processes, computer programs, machines, self-organizing materials, mathematical operations, and other procedural inventions.

In celebration of its 30th birthday, there will be a gathering for La Mere Vipere on Friday November 23rd, at Club FootIt starts at 8:30pm and will feature original La Mere DJs (such as Rick Faust) spinning vinyl throughout the night. You do not have to have been an attendee of La Mere to attend, so come on out and celebrate the anniversary of the United States first punk disco.  Drink some beers, dance to good music and hang out with the very first wave of Chicago punk rockers.  Should be a night to remember...
